Molson-Coors and The Lonely Entrepreneur (TLE), a New York-based non-profit that empowers individuals with entrepreneurial skills and support, have partnered to provide Black entrepreneurs free access to the knowledge, tools, and the ongoing support they need to start or grow a business.
Beginning this month, Molson-Coors will provide Black entrepreneurs with one-year free access to The Lonely Entrepreneur Learning Community – a one-stop-shop platform that provides entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools, and ongoing support they need. This is part of TLE’s Black Entrepreneur Initiative (BEI), which seeks to empower 100,000 current and aspiring Black entrepreneurs across the country.
“We want to thank Molson Coors for helping to turn entrepreneur dreams into reality for Black men and women across the nation. We hope to make a lasting and significant impact on their lives and their communities,” said Michael Dermer, Founder of The Lonely Entrepreneur.
The partnership will make its Learning Community platform available to the following organizations in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Denver:
• West Side United
• African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin
• Sherman Phoenix
• Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce
• Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado
Entrepreneurs from each of these organizations will receive one-year free access to the Learning Community to help them advance their businesses.
“We’re thrilled to partner with The Lonely Entrepreneur to help advance its Black Entrepreneur Initiative,” said Michael Nordman, Senior Manager of Community Affairs at Molson Coors Beverage Company. “We are committed to championing diversity and supporting economic empowerment across our hometown communities and this will be a much-needed resource for Black business owners and entrepreneurs.”
Molson Coors is providing funding for the Black Entrepreneur Initiative through the company’s Project Justice program, which has collectively donated more than $3 million to support North American organizations dedicated to equity, empowerment, justice, and community building.
